Most cruise ships dock on New Year’s Eve, rather than spend it at sea like they do on Christmas Day, so you may get to see a good city fireworks display while you party. But the views aren’t all that matters here — Ocean View staterooms on Carnival Jubilee™ are a little bit bigger than Interior rooms and most feature a supremely loungeable couch for those times when neither lying nor standing will do. Carnival Jubilee™ has its own Punchliner Comedy Club in the Grand Central zone, and up on stage you’ll find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. Somebody at Carnival knows just what you need, and it's pretty much exactly the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat™. Look, you'll still be on the same ship as the kids, the hoopla, and all the Carnival-style excitement...

Center Stage features a rotating selection of live entertainment, while Grand View Bar serves up great drinks with plenty to feast your eyes on. In Grand Central you're never far from cups of comfort at JavaBlue™ Café, great dining spots like Bonsai Sushi™ and Bonsai Teppanyaki™, plus feel-good entertainment like Piano Bar 88™ and The Punchliner Comedy Club™. Please tell me the DJ's play music other than hip hop all day by the pool and in the atrium!!?? I haven't sailed Carnival since this new entertainment programming started, but in a nutshell it sounds like nothing more than a huge cost cutting initiative.

I see the same on Jubilee, where the atrium is truly a destination that is continuously changing, surprising guests with its versatility. Being onboard Carnival’s newest ship, Carnival Jubilee, has me thinking of that first trip and how much has changed about the cruise experience over the years. My very first cruise was a Carnival cruise, on the defunct Carnival Inspiration. That sailing, some 23 years ago, left from New Orleans just about the same time as this one sailed from Galveston, and both that one and my current cruise sailed through the Gulf of Mexico on a Western Caribbean itinerary.
Also, tubs at the pool area always seem to be overly crowded and once in people rarely leave as the drink guy will just keep coming round. No problem with the hot tubs being away from the main action. Carnival Celebration has gone from the drawing board to the seas! Explore this a map of the ship, and start fueling your vacation dreams. Carnival Celebration® wouldn’t be complete without a place for you to settle in and recharge after a long day’s fun.

If I only had a limited amount of time for vacation and had to pick between OASIS and BREEZE it would be a no brainer. I would absolutely pay more to have a better experience. Hey if you find bingo calling takes away from relaxation on the Lido it's your call of course....we played once and didn't the other and didn't really find it intrusive at all. The horrid music being played at times (ie. Randy Travis) was more of a nuisance to us... We caught them earlier on in the Breeze Sailings and there could have been some issues, but clearly these have not been fixed.
Stay and play a while, relax with refreshment and more. Whether traveling by land or sea, Carnival invites guests to “Choose Fun Together,” the theme of their 2023 campaign. Carnival Celebration® has its own Punchliner Comedy Club in the Celebration Central zone, and up on stage you’ll find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. You can count on these comedians to not hold back either. Since some of them get up and say exactly what’s on their mind, we also schedule family-friendly performances… so the only red faces in the audience are from laughing a little too hard.
